Please note we do not take incoming telephone calls between 12:00 - 14:00 and 18.00 - 18.30, however if you need non urgent medical advice, your call can be transferred to the GP Collaborative.

Hubs/Satellite Unit

You may be offered an extended hours appointment at one of the six GP access centres across Sheffield between 18:00 and 20:00 during the week, or between 10:00 and 18:00 at weekends and Bank Holidays.  Please visit www.primarycaresheffield.org.uk/patients for further details or ask at reception.

When We Are Closed

A doctor can always be contacted when the surgery is closed by telephoning 111 at weekends, bank holidays and between 18:30 and 08:00 weekdays.  If you require non emergency advice during a week day lunchtime, please dial the surgery number and your call will be redirected to the GP collaborative.

Walk-in as an unregistered patient and see a GP or a nurse without an appointment.

Sheffield Minor Injuries Unit, B Floor, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Glossop Road, Sheffield, S10 2JF. Telephone 0114 271 2071 - open 08:00 – 20:00 7 days per week

The Minor Injuries Unit provides treatment for adults for less serious injuries, such as sprains, cuts and grazes.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
